Yes. Every operator gets a pre-ride safety briefing and an on-water orientation before you leave the launch.

You must be 21 to rent and to operate. Bring a photo ID. If you were born on or after January 1, 1988, Florida requires an approved boating-safety certificate. Complete a temporary certificate before check-in.

Neoprene riding shorts are recommended for protection. We can provide a pair on request — ask when you book so we have your size.

The Sea-Doo GTI SE 170 also includes Bluetooth audio.
The FishPro Scout 130 also includes a Garmin GPS / fish finder, trolling mode, rod holders, and a LinQ cooler.

If your vacation rental has a dock, or you have reserved a dock, contact us before you book. We can look at the location and tell you whether we can launch or meet you there. Not every dock works for jet ski delivery, so we need to confirm access, depth, and parking first. Message or call us with the address and we will let you know what we can arrange.

How many people can ride, and are there weight limits?

Both our Sea-Doo GTI SE 170 and FishPro Scout 130 can accommodate up to 3 riders, with a maximum total weight capacity of 600 lbs. The 600 lb limit includes the combined weight of everyone riding on the Sea-Doo.

Riders are responsible for ensuring that the number of passengers and combined weight remain within the manufacturer’s stated capacity at all times. Never exceed the Sea-Doo’s posted passenger or weight capacity.

What should I bring for my jet ski rental?

Please bring a valid government-issued photo ID and any required Florida boating safety credentials for each operator.

We also recommend bringing:

• Swimsuit or comfortable clothing that can get wet
• Sunscreen
• Sunglasses with a secure strap
• Towel
• Plenty of drinking water
• Sun-protective clothing or a rash guard for longer rentals

Protective Riding Gear: Sea-Doo recommends that operators and passengers wear neoprene shorts or wetsuit bottoms while riding. If you don't have your own, just reach out to us before your rental — we have a limited selection of neoprene riding shorts available upon request.

Life jackets and required safety equipment are provided with every Sunny Days jet ski rental.

We recommend keeping valuables and loose items to a minimum. Anything brought on the Sea-Doo should be secured and protected from water.

Cancellations made 24 hours or more before your scheduled start time receive a full refund or a free reschedule (subject to availability).

Cancellations made less than 24 hours before start time are non-refundable. Same-day cancellations and no-shows are charged in full.

No refund is issued if you arrive without a valid photo ID, without the required Florida boating safety certificate, late enough that we cannot complete the safety briefing, or if we determine it is unsafe for you to operate.

Weather Policy

Safety comes first. We monitor marine conditions at the launch location and make the final go / no-go call.

We will cancel or delay your rental — and issue a 100% refund or a free reschedule — if conditions at departure are unsafe. That includes lightning or thunder in the area, a Small Craft Advisory or Special Marine Warning for our waters, heavy rain with poor visibility, or seas and wind we judge unsafe for a personal watercraft.

Light rain, cloudy skies, a forecast “chance of rain,” or a passing shower that clears in a short time are not automatic cancellations. We may wait 15–30 minutes for a cell to move through. The decision is based on conditions here, not a forecast for another part of the county.

If we have to bring you in early because weather turns unsafe after you launch, we will refund or credit the unused portion of your time.

If you cancel because you do not like the look of the sky and we are still operating, the 24-hour cancellation window above applies.
